I was out walking across Arne nature reserve and saw in the distance this huge boar charging through the landscape, it made me think of our subconscious desires. Sometimes we are not in charge.

My works are both literal and part memory part feeling. Living on the Isle of Purbeck I am constantly walking around the heathlands and nature reserves. I take pictures, sketches and note the sensations that this beautiful and magical place creates in and for me. In some way I am trying to pass this experience on to the viewer - to see and feel it through my eyes.
