'By Lake Pier'

This piece began as a en plein air piece down at Lake Pier near Poole, Dorset. UK, then brought back to my studio for further work.
 
My works are both literal and part memory part feeling. Living on the Isle of Purbeck I am constantly walking around the heathlands and nature reserves. I take pictures, sketches and note the sensations that this beautiful and magical place creates in and for me. In some way I am trying to pass this experience on to the viewer - to see and feel it through my eyes.
