‘Falkirk Body’
 
This piece was my 'final' heat painting for Landscape Artist of the Year. I decided to pick a view that I wasn't expecting to pick, mainly because I felt like I should paint what I could see from my pod, but there was just something about the scale and abstract quality of the shapes reflected in the water from the Falkirk Wheel that I couldn't resist. And the small red lifebuoy was the deal breaker!
