'Somewhere over Achill’
 
This was one of my plein air paintings created while I was scouting Achill with the LAOTY film crew to get a better sense of County Mayo and its tremendous beauty. It was an extremely chilly day but the light was clear with clouds moving quickly across the sky, distant rain clouds could be seen and the day was topped off with a beautiful rainbow.
