This work is tied to my experience on Landscape Artist of the Year. Croagh Patrick seen from a boat, I have taken the feeling of the colours of Westport, the silvery blue waters edged by mustard orange algae and the huge shifting shadows across the Reek. 
 
• 80 x 80cm Acrylic, Pastel, Pen and Charcoal on Stretched Linen
• In frame 86 x 86cm. Oak Veneer tray frame.

My works are both literal and part memory part feeling. Living on the Isle of Purbeck I am constantly walking around the heathlands and nature reserves. I take pictures, sketches and note the sensations that this beautiful and magical place creates in and for me. In some way I am trying to pass this experience on to the viewer - to see and feel it through my eyes.
