'The Blue Pool'
 
On a beautifully sunny day, the Blue Pool on the Furzebrook Estate can feel like another world. I tried to capture something of that feeling.

My works are both literal and part memory part feeling. Living on the Isle of Purbeck I am constantly walking around the heathlands and nature reserves. I take pictures, sketches and note the sensations that this beautiful and magical place creates in and for me. In some way I am trying to pass this experience on to the viewer - to see and feel it through my eyes.
